Our leashes, collars, and accessories are made from BioThane®. It’s durable, lightweight, waterproof, odor proof, and stink proof. It is also easy to clean, which means keeping them nice is no problem! It is an ideal material for working with dogs as it does not absorb water, dirt, mud, or odor. BioThane® also comes in many fun colors, while not compromising the strength, which is what makes it one of the best materials for pet products!

BioThane® is NOT chew proof and a determined dog (or a puppy) will be able to damage or even chew all the way through the line. While BioThane® is incredibly tough when talking about pull resistance, sharp objects (puppy teeth, rocks, blades etc.) are able to destroy BioThane® just like any other leash or collar. We still recommend that if you need to tie your dog up unattended you use a more resistant cable line.

BioThane® is incredibly strong. It has a tested break strength of at least 1000 lbs per inch of width. BioThane® gets its strength from its woven webbing core, while the PVC coating protects the webbing from damage and UV deterioration. You do not need to worry about an intact, undamaged BioThane® line breaking, even with determined pulling from a strong dog. If the webbing core of your leash is damaged, the strength of your leash may be compromised. Please inspect your leash and hardware regularly.

BioThane® is so easy to clean! Just rinse or wipe down with a wet towel for light dirt. For a more thorough clean, use warm water with mild soap, then wipe to desired cleanliness.

We offer a 14 day return policy for all non-defective items. If your item is deemed defective due to manufacturing, we will accept returns for up to 30 days. Please reach out to us directly through our contact page for returns.

We charge a 25% restocking fee for non-defective items due to the nature of all of our products being custom, and hand made.
